Empowering woman

Empowerment of women is a necessity for the very development of a society, since it enhances both the quality and the quantity of human resources available for development. Empowerment includes the action of raising the status of women through education, raising awareness, literacy, and training. Women's empowerment is all about equipping and allowing women to make life-determining decisions through the different problems in society. Social ministry of St Pius X Manjummel Province of Discalced Carmelites consists of schools, hospitals, women social centres and boys’ homes. Social centres besieged the welfare of women. It was a great relief for the family to meet the expense of marriage of its daughter. And in the case of married women it was a means of meeting the day today expense especially for the education of their children. We have three V guard stabiliser units and three stitching centres. All the units function with its effectiveness and activeness. Every unit functions under the able guidance and the presence of priests.
